Olivier De Rycke, born in 1970, is a French photographer currently living in the Baltic states since 2009.

Sometimes, dreams become passions. They dwell within us, sometimes for years, but may suddenly ignite from a single spark and enter reality.

For him, photography is one of those passions that from a dream became a reality finding its path to becoming a professional photographer.

When he inherited his father’s old camera, he did not know what to use it for. At the time, he was managing a computer shop in Paris. Photography became an unexpected passion of his. He never planned to ever be a part of professional wedding and portrait photography, much like he never planned to start his own business.

Beside working for clients, he always kept an eye opened for a personal body of work he now shares on this website.

His genre spans from natural and classic landscapes to human altered sceneries and urbanity, a more contemporary approach without judgment but keen on finding esthetic in the mondain and ordinary things that surround us.
